JEA: Translating Complex Concepts
JEA, a nonprofit utility, provides electric, water, and sewer services to their customers in Jacksonville, Florida. JEA enlisted Milepost to help them educate customers on the value of staggered energy use. With the complexity of the topic, there was no way words and regular graphs and charts were going to be effective.
Milepost developed a fun infographic to help JEA customers understand how their current energy use behaviors cost them money and put stress on the electrical system. Utilizing infographics to communicate this complex topic guaranteed a deeper and more accurate understanding, and made customers want to read it.
