COLLATERAL, SIGNAGE AND EXHIBITS

TVA Innovation and Research’s Connected Communities initiative is funding pilot programs that equitably improve the lives of people in TVA's service area. As part of our ongoing communications support role, we helped TVA develop a variety of materials for their Open Home Energy Management System pilot. The Open HEMS pilot created a free, open-source software platform and mobile app that connects the local electricity distribution system directly to homes through smart home controls. 

Using the design aesthetic we developed for all Connected Communities communications materials, we developed an informational 1-pager, illustrations of all technologies, infographics, and event materials for a live technology demonstration. The illustrations and infographics were strategically placed throughout the demonstration and helped attendees quickly understand how each technology works. We developed an event “program” that provided a map to guide attendees through the demonstration, take-home information about the pilot, and a survey link for attendees to provide Connected Communities with feedback on their appetite for utilizing this technology.
