Angela Kakabeeke joined the Milepost team with a wealth of experience accumulated over 16 years in the field of sustainability strategies and people engagement. Her multifaceted background includes hands-on experience as an entrepreneur, author, and nonprofit specialist.
Before joining Milepost, Angela founded a sustainability engagement company, where she thrived at identifying opportunities, building relationships, and strategy development to positively impact communities. Author of two children's sustainability books, her work fueled campaigns along the East Coast to save the endangered Right Whale. Collaborating with entities like the New England Aquarium, Women Working for Oceans, and government officials, Angela pioneered initiatives, educating, and promoting sustainable practices.
Angela holds a Masters in Sustainability, complemented by an undergraduate degree in Criminal Justice, showcasing her commitment to both environmental and social responsibility. Currently based in Boston, Angela enjoys snowboarding and hiking alongside her husband and two sets of twins.
