Katie holds a PhD in English & Education from the University of Michigan, an MA from Boston College, and a BA in Writing from Calvin College in her hometown of Grand Rapids, Michigan. She now lives on the other side of the Mitten State in Ann Arbor with her spouse and badly behaved but adorable dog.
